Located in Springfield, Missouri, the development plans took in consideration a lot of nature energy sources, which is why at the moment this office building may be regarded as a sustainable one. This is proven by the butterfly-shaped roof, an innovative concept and structure that allows light to penetrate the conference rooms and the other offices. Due to this fact, there is a minimum need for artificial lighting during the day time. Natural ventilation and air filtration are also some of the features of these construction. And if this was not enough, most of the material used to build the place where recycled. MVRDV was officially named the winner of the Urban Ecological Masterplan due to an imposing project which will be developed in Tirana, Albania. The amazing shapes of the structure (resembling collapsing domino pieces) will be the basis for plenty of original and creative apartment design, commercial centers and office buildings. The new neighborhood will be called “Tirana Rocks”- a very suggestive name, if you think about it.- via
