This beautiful house – Casa Negra or "the Black House"- comes from Andres Remy Architects and is located at a 30 km distance from Buenos Aires, Argentina, in a spectacular natural environment. Situated next to a beautiful lake, the views had the potential of being unbeatable and this was one of the major strengths that the team based their work on. Nico Van Der Meulen Architects (or simply Nico) are a team of registered architects with the South African Council and they have a truly impressive portfolio. The first project from Nico we would like to show you is called “The Glass House” and is located in Johannesburg, South Africa. The brief included the fact that the future owner of the house wanted a “glamorous contemporary open-plan light-filled house that offered a view to the garden from every room”. The garden is not exactly a classical one, but a modern green space which includes a pool and a decorative round fountain.
