Floating Apartments in Europe - The Citadel

Now, rather than fight the water infiltrating their land, the Dutch will use it as part of a new development called New Water - designed by Koen Olthuis of Water Studio. The Citadel is a water breaking energy efficient new project that features 60 luxury apartments, a car park, a floating road to access the complex as well as boat docks.

LinnÃ©staden is a typical inner city district where you will find Gothenburg’s first suburb – Haga – and the big central park – Slottsskogen. We do not know if the location of this apartment had anything to do with its high-quality design, but we are really delighted to see how fresh everything in these pictures is. There is a wooden hall connecting the whole apartment. A nicely renovated kitchen in white with a green attitude, newly sober, renovated bathrooms,Â modern decorating details and bright tones turn this place into a real contemporary masterpiece. -via
