It’s hard to imagine that you can build a house on a terrain surrounded by rocks, but the designers from Jarmund / Vigsn AS Architects MNAL have done it on the coast of Vestfold in the southern part of Norway. Meant as a vacation house, the building replaced an older construction but adjusted to the site’s particularities in terms of shape, scale, material and color. Blending with the landscape but featuring a stylish lap pool and a terrace that offers breath-taking views, the Summer House Vestfold 2 has also managed to get our hears with the extensive use of stone and Kebony wood on the outside.
