St. Albans School, was founded in 1909 and is a well known boys’ school from the USA. Recently, a makeover of the institution was necessary, so the company hired was Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). The architects took advantage of the location and created amazing interior and exterior passage areas, which join the buildings. The classes are spacious and lighting (artificial as well as natural) was an intensely studied facto by the team. What a nice place for spending some quality time learning! – via
