Located in Garby, a place near Poznan, Poland, this original residential project belongs to NeoStudio Architekci, a company with a very inviting portfolio. We called the house “fun and fantastic” because we were fascinated by its design creativity. The architecture is simple and stylish, featuring elements that are not at all common and shaped around a two-level living-room. Large windows offer unobstructed views of the natural surroundings. The white stone walls give it a rustic feel and integrates it well in its environment. The interior is packed full with interesting and fresh design ideas. Unusual furniture and dramatic shapes blend into a dynamic and modern living area.

Located on the Oregon Coast, in Bluff Bandon, where Coquille River meets the ocean, this contemporary wooden residence comes from Johnston Architects and is our idea of a stylish retreat. The architecture plan features an "L"-shaped building which is open to both the river and ocean. The amazing natural surroundings were not left out and large windows allow unobstructed views. Enormous cypress trees guard the area and were brilliantly integrated in the building’s design. A cool wooden deck is also part of the architecture. The interior features a modern design enriched with rustic elements and spacious rooms with a fresh feel.

Tired of old fashioned lighting and common lamps? Brenda Houston came up with these unusual “rocky” design meant to brake the pattern of sober and dull lighting. The “recipe” could not be easier to follow: take a normal lamp and a add an eccentric rock at the bottom. We don’t know about you guys, but these crazy designs really got to us. We think they would go great in an original and modern interior, with simple but creative arrangements. Most of the items come in black and white. The difference is made by the colorful rock and as you can see, there are plenty of colors to chose from. You can find out more about these products by visiting the designer’s web page- just in case we stirred up your interest.

Raye Street House is momentarily the name of the imposing house you see in the pictures below. But its construction came with a giant challenge. Ryan Rhodes Designs and Jason Rhodes (Attorney/Principal JMR Law Group) were the ones to notice the land’s potential and made it so that the home took advantage of its natural surrounding. Located on the top of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, Washington, this residence was initially a warn-down building before the Rhodes took over in 2006. A large yard is located to the South part of the construction site and the large windows of the house ensure a panoramic view. The Raye Street House is said to be a combination of modern and traditional in matters of architecture. As for its interior design, you will notice the contemporary touch. What do you think of this home?
