This modern 220 squared meters apartment with 3 child bedrooms, a master bedroom, a large living room with fire place including a piano area, a full bath, and a modern kitchen was designed by TECTUS DESIGN Interiors and is located in Heraklion, Greece. The main concept of this project is to create a relaxing environment for the owners. The interior of the apartment follows the same colors and the dominance of natural materials. The floor is covered totally with wood. The living room occupies a wide space open to the exterior sea sight view, through glass panels. A wall is covered with wooden shelves and LED lighting. The light brown leather sofa, called Buxter is combined with a modern circular coffee-table and leather stools. In the dining room the large Marcezi table is set with eight leather chair. Between the living and dining room there is a screen of LCD TV and a set of stereo, which can be rotate at both of these two areas. Finally, in the luxury master bedroom we can see a minimal jacuzzi covered with highlight glass.

Located deep in the hillside of Barcelona, this amazing wooden home comes from H Arquitectes and has a unique architecture design. The project is called “Casa 205″ and it was built in order to take advantage of the beautiful natural surroundings. Impact on the environment is kept to a minimal level as well. The giant rectangle was set on a rough terrain, not so suited for building a home. However, the slopes did not stop the architects from designing a steady and ultimately cool house project. A genuine rustic feel is given by the use of wood, both for the exterior and the indoor finishes. A huge bookcase is the centerpiece of the house and the rooms are very spacious.

The color and freshness of the kitchens in our previous post is replaced here by elegance. The main colors are black, gray, white and brown which are pleasantly combined in creating modern designs. Plants and other decorative elements manage are nicely integrated in the decors. Please check them out and let us know what you think. Do you prefer colorful kitchen designs over more "serious" interiors such as the ones below ?

If you are a fan of contemporary architecture, then check out this modern Mexican villa from JCNAME Architects. Too parallel boxes, each with a well defined design were connected together for this project called “MO House”. White, red and black were the colors chosen for the exterior, a palette which brings a sober touch. Large windows facilitate a good indoor illumination and contribute to the overall modern design. Privacy is not an issue, as the frosted glass does not allow too much visibility. The interior is minimalist, with stairs connecting the floors and interesting looking furniture. The illuminated floors and large painting are elements that build up the home’s personality.
JSª is a team of architects from Mexico City. They recently developed this breathtaking residential project situated by the beach in Lima, the capital of Peru. The location couldn’t be better- a peaceful area located not far away from the urban madness, where all the major events take place. A white and captivating exterior, with large windows draws attention to the building that houses 4 apartments. Stone stairs connect the levels on the outside. A beautiful pool completes the mystical feel of this residential wonder. The interior design is modern and minimalist, with interesting furniture items and original color arrangements. We don’t know why the building is called “22″, but we really like its name. -via Platforma Arquitectura
