Located in Garby, a place near Poznan, Poland, this original residential project belongs to NeoStudio Architekci, a company with a very inviting portfolio. We called the house “fun and fantastic” because we were fascinated by its design creativity. The architecture is simple and stylish, featuring elements that are not at all common and shaped around a two-level living-room. Large windows offer unobstructed views of the natural surroundings. The white stone walls give it a rustic feel and integrates it well in its environment. The interior is packed full with interesting and fresh design ideas. Unusual furniture and dramatic shapes blend into a dynamic and modern living area.
This modern 220 squared meters apartment with 3 child bedrooms, a master bedroom, a large living room with fire place including a piano area, a full bath, and a modern kitchen was designed by TECTUS DESIGN Interiors and is located in Heraklion, Greece. The main concept of this project is to create a relaxing environment for the owners. The interior of the apartment follows the same colors and the dominance of natural materials. The floor is covered totally with wood. The living room occupies a wide space open to the exterior sea sight view, through glass panels. A wall is covered with wooden shelves and LED lighting. The light brown leather sofa, called Buxter is combined with a modern circular coffee-table and leather stools. In the dining room the large Marcezi table is set with eight leather chair. Between the living and dining room there is a screen of LCD TV and a set of stereo, which can be rotate at both of these two areas. Finally, in the luxury master bedroom we can see a minimal jacuzzi covered with highlight glass.

How do you feel about a kitchen that has everything and a little extra? Even though the supply for kitchen bars is growing these days, there are not many those who think of having such an addition to their kitchen. Classic interiors, with kitchen elements gathered up on one wall and a table in the middle has become so popular, that we often see examples where creativity is regarded as a negative factor. We think a kitchen bar ads a touch of originality and breaks the dullness of a design. This is why in the pictures below you will see a collection of cool bar ideas which manage to improve the decors they are integrated in. From vivid colors and fresh patterns to more classic ideas, the bars are aesthetic but also functional.
Cottesloe House comes from by Paul Burnham Architect and is located in Perth, Western Australia, in the beach side suburb of Cottesloe. We appreciate the diversity of its exterior design, with the unusual architecture twists. Inside you will notice that most of the rooms are connected, while showing off a contemporary feel. Here is a statement from the architects regarding the project: “Concrete is a recurring theme throughout the house in recognition of the owner occupation and willingness to engage alternate methods of construction and finishes. The successful aspects of the property appear to be the sense of privacy, the consistency of light quality and the uplifting sensation from the significant winter sunlight penetration throughout the building.”
The Grangegorman Residence belongs to ODOS Architects, an architecture company with an interesting portfolio. We will start with a statement from the architects regarding their design: “Whilst befitting the scale and character of it’s urban context, this metallic house for a motor-cycle enthusiast challenges those preconceived typologies of traditional terraced housing.” Indeed, this house- built for a sports fan-does not lack originality. Its exterior as well as interior design inspire style and simplicity but in the same time you can sense a dynamic touch. As you can see, the motor-cycle is the focal point of the entrance hall, which we consider to be quite cool.
