Have yo ever considered having a really wacky carpet in your home? Desigend by Jason Amendolara, these sewer mats- that’s right, this is what they’re called- are certain to spice up a dull entrance. They can be used as welcoming carpets, but no one says they can not be integrated in a room’s interior design. In fact, having more of them on the same floor could create a fun street theme. The graphics include reproductions of some of the world’s famous city sewers (funny, huh?) like Paris, London, Chicago and so on. What do you think- really cool, really crazy or both?

We are not sure that once this stunning structure will start floating, the environmental issues will all be over, or that the oceans will be less polluted or less dangerous,. All we can tell for sure is that they will certainly be more observed by aspiring designers worldwide. Created by Peddle Thorpe Architects, “Fluid  can remind one of the architectural wonders recently built in Dubai. This large structure with its strange but beautiful aquatic shape can either “wait  patiently in a harbor or take off and float towards the next destination. “Fluid  was especially design to house the World Expo in Yeosu, South Korea, event that will take place in 2012. - via
